Talking about the ammunition, the US also supplied the Ukrainian forces with M768A1 60mm projectiles - here with M734A1 multi-option fuzes (Proximity, Near Surface Burst, Impact or Delay mode). However the mortar here is UA-made KBA-118 (inspired by the US M2).




We continue to dig into undisclosed military aid from the United States - it appears that the Ukrainian troops received and actively using American M224 60mm lightweight mortars. This is a reliable system that can be used with a wide variety of ammunition.

It seems against ukranian forces on "Azovstal" there use this 240mm guided mortar round "Smelchak". Such accuracy is needed if known where the weak points of the shelters at Azovstal are or to destroy the entrances\exists from these shelters.
